Quota exceeded, backup stopped.Cause
This means that during the backup process the quota limit on the account was reached.At that time the backup is interrupted with the error message.
e.g. In an 5 GB account with 80% in use there is in 1GB of free space left.
When a backup is made of a file larger then this (e.g. 1,5 GB) the backup will stop with the error message.
But because incomplete files are not counted in quota usage and are deleted after 48 hours the quota will remain at 80%.
In the local log files of the software it will show what files was being uploaded (e.g. vacation-video.mpg) when quota was reached.
Solution
- In the Partner Portal the account can be adjusted by adding more storage space (quota) to the account.
- Reduce the selection in the backupset settings to clear up space.

Important:
The server is not allowed to cleanup old retention until a new successful backup is received.
Your partner can temporarily upgrade the quota in the portal or you can delete data yourself: How can I delete data from the account
From the backup client it's also possible to manually start the retention task before the scheduled backup has run
